Member of the Week: Friends, Families and Travellers

Each issue, we want to highlight the work of one of our amazing range of members across Wealden, Eastbourne and the Lewes District. This week it is the turn of Friends, Families and Travellers (FFT).

FFT has been working on behalf of Gypsies and Travellers since 1994 and the organisation has broad support within the Travelling communities. The overall objective of the organisation is to work towards a more equitable society where everyone has the right to travel and to stop without constant fear of persecution because of their lifestyle. Consequently, FFT does not restrict its services to one particular group nor does it represent one group against another, but rather responds to the needs of the community as a whole.

For more information about their work, please visit their website: www.gypsy-traveller.org
