Everyone needs to understand and implement professional boundaries to keep both themselves and those they work with safe. This short 1.5 hrs online course is designed to give guidance to understand professional boundaries and duty of care.
During the workshop we will:
- Provide practical guidance on professional boundaries
- Discuss the difference between friendship and supporting someone as a volunteer
- Explore the difference between professional, personal, legislative boundaries and policies or codes of conduct in relation to volunteers.
Target Audience:
This course is aimed at volunteers or members of staff who provide support to people in the community. Please note that priority will be given to the groups working across 3VA areas (Eastbourne, Lewes District and Wealden).
