Organisations and schools are invited to submit expressions of interest to participate in the holiday activities and food (HAF) programme.
The government recently announced that the HAF programme has been expanded across the whole of England in 2021. As a result of this funding, a wide range of local providers and schools have been planning to deliver exciting and engaging new projects for children all across East Sussex.
Following the success of this Easter provision, East Sussex County Council is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) proposals from any providers or schools who can deliver holiday activities and a nutritional meal for at least 4 hours a day over a 4-day period during the summer and/or Christmas holidays for children who are in receipt of free school meals.
EOIs can be submitted by any appropriate provider, including schools, private companies, and voluntary organisations, whether or not they have already been involved with the HAF scheme over the Easter holiday. If schools are aware of providers in their area who might be interested in submitting a proposal, please do alert them to this opportunity. The deadline for EOIs is 23 April 2021 at 12 noon has been extended to 30 April 2021.
