• A strategic thinker and operator?
• Effective in influencing and negotiating at a senior level?
• Able to lead delivery of agreed development plans, working
collaboratively with Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector
and statutory partners?
We are looking for someone who has:
• Excellent knowledge and experience of the Voluntary, Community and
Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.
• Experience of developing and leading partnerships and managing
complex partnership projects.
• Knowledge of the structure of, and proposed changes to, health, care,
and wider public sector services at a strategic level.
The East Sussex VCSE Alliance is a group of VCSE organisations working together
to improve services and outcomes for local people and to demonstrate the value of
the VCSE to our partners and the public.
East Sussex Community Voice, on behalf of the East Sussex VCSE Alliance, requires
a talented and effective Development Officer who will lead the delivery of and agreed
strategic delivery plan, working with Alliance officers and members. The post will
ensure that the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector in East Sussex
has a strong, independent voice and is a first-class delivery partner represented
throughout the county.
