Due to the retirement of the first MAYFACS manager, there is now a unique and exciting opportunity to lead the future development of the charity, building on the success of all that MAYFACS has achieved so far.
MAYFACS was set up in 2016 to give local support to the community in the parish of Mayfield and Five Ashes with the aim of helping people of all ages to stay healthy and independent, and reduce rural isolation and loneliness. It provides and helps facilitate a wide range of services which have increased considerably since the beginning of the pandemic, with the introduction of a Helpline, the opening of a Community Shed project, a community transport service and the prospect of new premises.
