We are urgently looking for a community engagement professional with experience and/or interest in community safety improvements.
The successful candidate will need to be able to work flexibly from home and in the community (in line with safety guidelines) to engage local organisations, stakeholders and residents in a small area of Eastbourne to help them shape investment in street safety and domestic security. It’s a short-term project, so you need to think on your feet, act fast and develop robust engagement to be delivered over a couple of months. Project co-ordination and strong partnership working skills are also required.
This is available for an immediate start and a contract will be offered until the end of March 2021 – preferably working full-time in the first few months and going down to part-time in the latter part of the project. This is also open to freelancers, self-employed and as contract for services.
