Sussex Community Development Association (SCDA), runs a range of projects & services aimed at supporting those most vulnerable in communities. Support for Survivors of Suicide (SSOS), is an ESCC funded partnership project between SCDA and Counselling Plus Community (CPC), where SCDA is the lead partner. The project provides effective and timely support for anyone affected by suicide or attempted suicide (families and carers, friends and colleagues) concentrating primarily on the Havens, Hailsham, Eastbourne, Hastings and Rother.

We are recruiting for a Counselling Co-ordinator to co-ordinate the SSOS service. Co-ordinating timely and effective counselling support for vulnerable clients in the community including suicidal individuals, addressing both immediate crises and providing on-going support, through liaison with a range of counsellors.
