St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides end of life support to the population of Eastbourne and the surrounding parts of East Sussex, from our stunning hospice building and through our highly skilled community teams. We are rated an ‘outstanding’ provider by the Care Quality Commission and have a clear vision of reaching increasing numbers of local patients and their families, in close collaboration with our community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and engaging individual to support in developing and implementing our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy. You will be responsible for driving forward the strategic EDI objectives by leading, facilitating and enabling the EDI Delivery Group.
By actively engaging with a diverse range of individuals and community groups, you will build connections between St Wilfrid’s Hospice and hard to reach communities, as well as creating a genuine culture of inclusiveness within the hospice.
You will lead a group of committed colleagues to work through an action plan, which includes reviewing and reframing our internal and external communications, creating robust policies, and developing short and longer-term training programmes to embed and build knowledge and skills around this important work for our team.
