Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays / pro rata
Contract: Fixed term, 6 months
Pension: 3VA will match contributions of up to 6% of annual salary Nest pension scheme.

We are a local organisation supporting community groups, voluntary organisations and individuals to improve quality of life and equality of opportunity for everyone.
The purpose of this post is to convene, co-ordinate and take part in partnership activity under the Homes for Ukraine (East Sussex) programme alongside Lewes District, Eastbourne Borough and Wealden District Council areas, partners within local communities and public sector partners.
DELIVERABLES
1 Bring together a local network of key organisations to assist in the co-ordination of support across Lewes District Council (LDC), Eastbourne Borough Council (EBC) and Wealden District Council (WDC)
2 Support LDC, EBC, and WDC with managing expectations of host families and individuals and provide training and information
3 Host a local event providing information from housing team at LDC, EBC, and WDC, East Sussex County Council, and local existing support services for local people and VCSE who want to help, and how they can help
4 Dispel any myths of what it will be like to house a refugee for 6 months to a year and manage expectations
5 Co-ordinate information to host families and VCSE organisations locally
6 Facilitate volunteers, provide training to help families and individuals when they arrive with soft support – local shops, GPs, bus routes etc
7 Facilitate local native Ukrainian speakers to support and offer guidance
8 Support LDC, EBC, and WDC and host families with any secondary breakdown in placements
9 Work with East Sussex County Council to ensure education, social care and health provision is provided
10 Provide 3VA representation at East Sussex County Council and LDC, EBC, and WDC meetings that are focused on Homes for Ukraine (East Sussex)
