Lewes District Citizens Advice is looking for a money advice caseworker to work alongside our specialist benefits team. We will also consider a trainee.

Although you will be based primarily in Newhaven you may also need to see clients in our other offices across Lewes District. There may be some travel within East Sussex.

Ideally applicants will have at least 2 years’ recent experience of delivering face to face debt advice and have successfully completed MaPS accredited training. However, we would consider those with less experience or those willing to undertake further training. The job requires a high level of numeracy and a commitment and dedication to continuing professional development.

It is important that that you have strong organisational and communications skills and work well as part of a team. It is essential to be able to manage your time efficiently and work on your own initiative.
