This is an exciting opportunity to work on our successful National Casework Service for Victims of Domestic Abuse run in partnership with Surviving Economic Abuse, piloting the Economic Abuse Evidence Form.

We are looking for female adviser to deliver money, debt and benefits advice by phone to people experiencing domestic abuse. You should have at least one year’s experience of delivering debt advice and good knowledge welfare benefits. You will preferably hold the MIMA cert qualification in money advice practice, and be an approved intermediary for debt relief orders or be happy to work towards these qualifications. Knowledge or experience of working with clients affected by domestic abuse is desirable, but training can be provided. You must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable delivering advice by phone, and be able to plan and organise your work. The role is based out of our Eastbourne office, homeworking on a flexible or regular basis will be considered if requested by the successful candidate.

Salary: NJC point 18-23 (£24,982 – £27,741 pro rata)
Hours: 28 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term to 31/5/21, with a possibility of extension dependant on funding
Location: Eastbourne – currently working remote until we are able to return to the office.
