Project Officer – Blue / Green Infrastructure, Youth Engagement
Railway Land Wildlife Trust
£27500 pro rata (Paid)
The Project Officer will help deliver a three year project across Lewes District focusing on blue / green infrastructure and the benefits it can bring to communities. This is an exciting project with ample opportunity to develop work in response to the need, skills and enthusiasms identified amongst local people.
The project has a strong focus on engaging and empowering young people to have their voices heard and to take action, and on developing the capacity of local voluntary organisations to deliver learning and engagement events that promote an understanding of blue / green infrastructure.
The project involves two staff roles, one Project Officer focusing on youth engagement and the other on working with local voluntary and environmental organisations and developing learning resources. While each Project Officer will have their own area of responsibility, other areas will be shared, such as organising events and developing communications.
