Who are Sussex Community Development Association (SCDA)?

We strengthen local communities by providing a range of local services to people in need across East Sussex including youth activities, community hubs offering emergency & community food, family activities and learning, nursery, bicycle recycling, advice, support into employment and retail charity shops. We aim to support community and individual health and well-being, and provide information & help getting people back into work.

We need Trustees who can support our Governance and particularly seek people who have specific skills and experience in:
Finance and commerce;
Business and social enterprise;
Human Resources;
Digital/marketing and promotions;
Charitable fundraising.
Specific awareness of issues relating to health and wellbeing and the needs of disadvantaged communities would be welcomed.
SCDA is looking for effective people to join its Board of Trustees in realising our ambitious goals to make a difference in local communities and with local people. SCDA Trustees are key to helping make this happen. We look forward to hearing from you.
