Care for the Carers is seeking to recruit a skilled volunteer coordinator to join its team supporting unpaid carers in East Sussex.

The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, support and develop a team of volunteers, in a variety of roles, to enhance our work to support and represent carers in East Sussex.

The successful applicant will be a skilled communicator with excellent organisational skills, who has experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers, and of developing, implementing and evaluating volunteer programmes. The ability to gain and maintain volunteers’ confidence is essential, as is a commitment to equality and inclusion. You will work across a range of community settings, with office space being provided in Eastbourne, however, work anywhere within East Sussex may be required.
