3VA’s Eastbourne Community Network is a cross-sector online networking event. it is primarily aimed at voluntary and community groups operating across Eastbourne, but everyone in the local community is welcome.
3VA’s Lewes District Community Network is a cross-sector online networking event. It is primarily aimed at voluntary and community groups operating across Lewes District, but everyone in the local community is welcome.
3VA’s Wealden District Community Network is a cross-sector online networking event. It is primarily aimed at voluntary and community groups operating across Wealden District, but everyone in the local community is welcome.
3VA’s special interest network for groups and organisations that provide services for older people. It meets once a month and is an opportunity to share information, learn how others are approaching issues and talk through issues with your colleagues.
3VA’s Volunteer Coordinators’ Forums, which take place twice per year, are designed as informal meetings allowing anyone working with volunteers the opportunity to learn and talk more about specific volunteering topics. The forums also offer the chance to meet with other people working with volunteers throughout East Sussex, get the latest information about volunteer management training, funding and other volunteering initiatives in the area and discover the latest news from the national volunteering sector and how it affects your organisation.
The Active Sussex Network brings together member organisations and local partners that deliver sport and physical activity across Sussex including: local authorities, leisure trusts, national governing bodies of sport, health agencies, educational & community organisations.
Meeting twice a year in central Sussex locations, partners receive strategic policy briefings, attend themed workshops and have the opportunity to network.
The Climate Action Forum for Lewes District was launched with support from Lewes District Council as part of its response to the climate emergency. It is coordinated by 3VA and the Sustainable Business Partnership CIC.

Eastbourne ECO Action Network, based in the coastal town of Eastbourne in East Sussex is a Community Interest Company with a growing number of people and a reach to over 974 businesses, charities and social organisations locally who are united by the same goal – to turn Eastbourne carbon neutral by 2030 and to make it one of the best places to live in the UK. It works in close collaboration with Eastbourne Borough Council, representing a fresh approach to engaged citizenship.
Eastbourne Food Partnership aims to create a more resilient and sustainable local food system, helping to strengthen the local food economy, reduce waste and make fresh healthy food accessible to all. Following the examples and principles of the ‘sustainable food cities’ model, it is working to develop a network of collaboration between community groups, food producers, key decision makers and consumers.

Greenhavens Network was set up to support community groups who are volunteering to protect green spaces stretching from Telscombe to Seaford and bring them to life. All of these green ambassadors are championing green spaces through caring about our parks and opens spaces as well as doing everything they can to help wildlife flourish and encouraging people to be healthy and happy in their local green spaces.
Are you a local community group or charity in Hailsham and wish to benefit from sharing experiences and ideas with other local groups? The Hailsham Community Forum is always looking for community groups, associations and charities in the area to exchange ideas, learn from each other, network and collaborate. The Forum meets monthly and is made up of around 30 community organisations.

Run by our partners Hastings Voluntary Action (HVA), Hastings Community Network is an overarching network comprising of local voluntary community and faith groups, networks and forums. It offers communication channels between the voluntary and community sector and those who make decisions locally. The network identifies ways in which members can participate and influence decisions affecting the delivery of services.
Stop the Traffik hosts community forums focusing on different modern slavery and human trafficking themes. With a range of organisations in attendance from the third sector, these forums look at some of the challenges that organisations face and what is being identified in their own client groups. The Sussex Community Buildings Advisory Group (SCBAG), which has representatives from across East and West Sussex, helps plan, run and contribute to village hall events and training, shares experience, provides peer assessors for the Hallmark Scheme and represents Sussex Halls in lobbying for improvements in funding and legislation to help volunteers managing village and community halls.
