Venue Hire

An intimate and beautifully kept private arts venue in Mayfield, East Sussex.

The venue is set up as a private art gallery and sculpture garden and hosts regular performing arts events and figure drawing classes. The venue is available to hire primarily for small arts related rehearsals or meetings. Due to the artwork and sculpture on display the venue is unsuitable for groups focusing around children or others who may cause damage to work on display.

The venue consists of one larger room measuring approximately 5m x 7m and an adjoining room measuring 3.8m x 5m.

There is a 12m x 9m Capri marquee available during summer months (weather dependent) which can be erected at an additional cost on the lawn area in front of the gallery space.

The venue has the following:

• 20 old cinema seats (all movable but fixed in groups of 2)
• A dining table which seats 8.
• 6 movable exhibition walls (each 2.4 x 1m) which can be hired at an additional cost. These can be arranged to break up the space or exhibit work if required.
• A baby grand piano (available for use only by proficient pianists)
• There is one toilet & a small kitchen/ washing area available with an oven, microwave, washing machine and sink.
• There is a large outdoor patio area (4 m x 10m) which can be used for relaxation and quiet activities.
