Keith’s story

In the photo:

Volunteer driver, Keith Morris, at the CTLA depot in Newhaven with one of the many fully accessible and adapted vehicles in the CTLA fleet.

What did your volunteer do?

Keith assisted many individuals in the Lewes District area throughout the Covid-19 crisis by volunteering his time to support those who needed transport to and from their Covid-19 vaccinations.

Keith has, over the years, volunteered 1000’s of hours of his time driving many individuals who were at risk of social isolation and loneliness, supporting their individual needs and always with a smile on his face.

How did your volunteer make a difference?

Keith provided peace of mind to each individual upon their journey to and from the Covid-19 vaccination centres. He reassured many who had anxieties attending the appointments and supported their well-being throughout.

Keith is an asset to CTLA and we are extremely proud of his dedication to the charity and to all of the members. His commitment to the charity shines through in his generosity of volunteering, assisting those that cannot access regular public transport.

By having such kind and caring volunteer’s like Keith, allows CTLA to continue to support all individuals with our services and knowing that the care, respect and well-being needs of those that travel with us are being met.
