Stacey, Lyn and Sharon’s story

In the photo:

Stacey, Lyn and Sharon are preparing a Christmas gift for a child in need in Croatia. Living Life (Eastbourne) are blessed to have regular supporters who donate toys, toiletries, school supplies and sweets. Our Volunteers sort and pack our Love in a Shoebox gift ready for distribution to those in need at Christmas.

What did your volunteers do?

They are fully involved in our projects to support Children with disabilities and their families and communities.

They generate donations, sort and pack gifts and, some of them are also involved in the distribution of said items. They also help to run our Charity shop in Eastbourne which serves our local community with signposting to other services and befriending, as well as providing high quality preloved goods at great prices.

How did your volunteers make a difference?

To those we support our wonderful Volunteers provide a lifeline of friendship and practical help. They show that regardless of poverty, disability or disadvantage, there is a network of dedicated people who are willing to give their time and energy to make life better for others. Without them we could not function and we are thankful to God for all of their hard work.
